I’m Suzanne, an AAT-qualified and licensed accountant, and the person behind Small Business Bookkeeping. I support sole traders with their bookkeeping, tax, VAT and software, helping them stay on top of things without it taking over their life.

I’ve worked in accountancy for many years, but I wanted to create something more approachable and flexible for small business owners. Something that feels easier to ask questions, get support, and keep on top of things without it feeling like a big, formal process.

As a mum of four, I know how busy life can be, and how easy it is for things like bookkeeping to slip down the list. That’s why I keep things simple and work around you, not the other way round.

I mainly work with sole traders across the UK, providing remote support that fits around how you like to communicate. Whether that’s email, messages, voice notes or a quick call, you can get in touch in a way that works for you. Evening support is available too, so you’re not trying to fit everything into an already busy day.

Whether you want someone to check over your bookkeeping, take it off your hands completely, or help you get set up from scratch (including registering with HMRC and getting started with software like Xero), I’m here to help.
